Testimonials From Actual Patients

"I am delighted with the results from the refractive lens exchange that Dr. Tim Denman did on me a year ago. What a freedom to be able to go out in the rain and not be looking through smudgy glasses. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! It is such a gift that it is difficult to find the words to express my gratitude. The worst part was getting up the nerve to have the surgery, as I could never stand ANYTHING coming towards my eyes! Honestly, I was so amazed that it was like a spa treatment the way the staff pampered me and made me feel relaxed and confident.

"I play the harp and it is such a thrill to read my music without glasses, to get out of bed in the morning, see the clock and be ready to go without glasses and I don't mind getting all dressed up and feeling much prettier without my glasses. Oh and Dr. Denman promised that 'I could take my vision to the grave.' Best money I ever spent!"

—Carol, Refractive Lens Exchange - 2008

"I had worn glasses for nearly all my life and they had become a total inconvenience, so I opted for LASIK. What a gift! Getting LASIK was the best thing I've ever done for myself! Shortly after the procedure, I could see so well...I could make out individual blades of grass in my yard. I told Dr. Tim it was like he gave me my life back. And now I tell everyone I know about him."

—Rosie, LASIK - 2003

"I was a -11.00 and -12.00 before my laser surgery, which means I could only see my hand clearly four inches in front of my face without my glasses or contacts. My reason for having LASIK was to be less nearsighted and to have thinner lenses in my glasses. My expectation after surgery was not to be perfect but to just be able to see when swimming, or going camping, or to simply see the clock beside my bed.

"My results surpassed my expectations. As soon as my surgery was finished, I could read the clock on the wall in the surgery room. I'll never forget, it was 3:48 PM. The next morning the first thing that I looked at was my clock in the bedroom and it was clear. My vision for driving that same morning was so clear I just couldn't believe it. I was looking around at all the things and thinking that I'm doing all of this without my normal contact lenses or my thick, heavy glasses.

"I am still in awe of my results and my good vision. Thank you, Dr. Denman, for making such a dramatic improvement in my life."

—Lynn, LASIK - 2000

"After wearing glasses and contact lenses for 30+ years, I was really tired of getting up each morning and putting my contacts in. Then, after coming home each night, going through the routine of taking them out, cleaning, disinfecting, rinsing, storing, then putting my glasses on hoping that I wouldn't have to go out of the house for the rest of the evening.

"I knew I wanted LASIK surgery so that I could be free of the burden of glasses and contact lenses, or at least reduce my constant need for them.

"Immediately after having LASIK surgery, Dr. Denman asked me if I could see the clock on the wall and to my surprise I could! That was already a tremendous improvement in my life. Having LASIK surgery has truly been a miracle for me after being dependent on glasses and contact lenses for so many years. Words just can't describe it.

"Seeing is believing."

—Debbie, LASIK - 2000

"Dr. Denman performed LASIK surgery on my eyes in September of 1998. It was a fairly new procedure at the time because I was in a study. I was absolutely amazed that I could see the very next day after being practically blind for years. I started wearing glasses when I was nine and contacts when I was 15. I am now 60 years old. I have monovision and do not even use reading glasses! I do use glasses for night driving (only the past four years). I have had nothing done to my eyes since the original procedure and am still as satisfied as I was right after I had it done!"

—Janet, LASIK - 1998
