"I was a -11.00 and -12.00 before my laser surgery,
which means I could only see my hand clearly 4 inches in front
of my face without my glasses or contacts.
"My reason for having LASIK was to be less nearsighted and
to have thinner lenses in my glasses.
"My expectation after surgery was not to be perfect but
to just be able to see when swimming, or going camping, or to
simply see the clock beside my bed.
"My results surpassed my expectations. As soon as my surgery
was finished, I could read the clock on the wall in the surgery
room. I'll never forget, it was 3:48 PM. The next morning the
first thing that I looked at was my clock in the bedroom and it
was clear. My vision for driving that same morning was so clear
I just couldn't believe it. I was looking around at all the things
and thinking that I'm doing all of this without my normal contact
lenses or my thick, heavy glasses.
"I am still in awe of my results and my good vision. Thank
you, Dr. Denman, for making such a dramatic improvement in my
life."
